What we collect

• Booking details. When you reserve an appointment you give us your name, phone number, email address, the service you want, and any notes you add. Bookings are handled by our booking provider, Mangomint (see below).
• Things you tell us in person or by message. For example, allergies or sensitivities you want your artist to know about, or questions you send by phone or Instagram.
• How you use the website. Pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, how long you stay, the site that sent you, your browser, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This is collected automatically by the tools listed below, using cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card numbers or government ID through this website.

How we use it

• To book, confirm, remind you of, and carry out your appointments.
• To give you a safe service, such as working around an allergy.
• To answer your questions.
• To understand how people use the website so we can make it easier to use, and to fix things that are broken.
• To measure whether our advertising works, such as whether someone who saw an ad later booked an appointment, and the price of the booked service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Microsoft Clarity

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, to improve and market our services. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud and security purposes, and advertising. Clarity masks text you type into forms. Google Ads

Measures visits and bookings, including the price of the booked service, that come from our Google ads, using cookies. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Meta Pixel

Mangomint

Our booking and studio-management system. It stores your booking details and appointment history and sends confirmations and reminders. See the Mangomint Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare and Google Fonts

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website, and Google Fonts supplies its typefaces. Both receive your IP address and browser details as part of delivering the page.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though booking needs Mangomint’s own cookies to complete.
• You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings and in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
• For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Microsoft Clarity does not store cookies unless consent has been given.

Where your information is stored

The services above may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and client records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable time afterwards for our business and tax records. Website analytics are kept for the periods each provider sets; Microsoft Clarity, for example, keeps session recordings for about 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it (which may mean we can no longer book you). Contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
